Formed in 1973, the ‘Bureau’ as it was affectionately known has undergone many changes. However, our aim of supporting the elderly, disabled and vulnerable in the community remains the overwhelming objective. Presently offering a range of community transport services we continue to seek new ways of supporting people so they are able to manage their own affairs, attend all their medical appointments, shop for themselves, socialise and attend clubs and events with, if necessary, mobility aids appropriate to their needs.

We are grateful to the Borough Council of Wellingborough, Northamptonshire County Council and the Primary Care Trust for funding we receive for our community transport services
