Please remember wives and partners are more than welcome

The more who attend the cheaper will be the price and an excellent lunch is also promised at a nearby pub afterwards. The party will need to leave Wellingborough by 9am as the tours have been scheduled for 10.15am. David will plan lunch for 1pm and hope the timetable doesn’t go pear-shaped !!!

One of the latest acquisitions of the collection is a 1913 Leyland double-decker open top bus which remarkable  has “Wellingborough” printed large as life on it’s side indicating its route as Rushden Higham Ferrers Stanwick and Raunds. It is beautifully restored and one of just a handful of surviving examples of pre WW1 buses of its type.

This will be an enjoyable day which you will remember for some time to come
