This will be the third of our trial social Rotary meetings away from the Golf Club on a Tuesday evening. It is at Bella Barista Coffee on the Nene Park complex across the way from Hart’s Brewery. We shall enjoy an evening of coffee tasting and a talk covering the growing and buying of coffee beans from all over the world, and we shall see the roasting and grinding processes plus the bagging and retail operation. Our local host will be Stephen Peel, who set up and runs the operation.
The cost will be £15 per person on the night, to be collected by the President, who is our Rotary host for the meeting.
The £15 will include the coffee consumed during the evening, a buffet supper, plus a bag of their finest coffee to take home.
There will also be available some excellent ale smuggled in from Harts round the corner, with an honesty box for donations.
Cut-off for apologies from Rotarians unable to attend is Saturday 12 November.
