This evening Lurgan Rotary Club Ireland welcomed Roland Sewell from the Rotary Club of Wellingborough Hatton. Roland is in Lurgan for the next couple of months and contacted Lurgan Rotary through his club secretary, to see if he could attend some meetings. He was, of course, welcomed with open arms and we enjoyed not only his company during our weekly meal and also finding out about the Rotary Club of Wellingborough Hatton.
This brings to mind one of the less thought about benefits of Rotary – being welcome at Rotary meetings in practically any city in the world.
