Purple For Polio Collection

Nigel and Dick organised a collection last weekend in Wellingborough by receiving donations for crocus bulbs the net proceeds of £243 will be increased by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation contribution to £729.  As each vaccination costs 50p it means nearly 1,500 children will have been saved from the risk of catching polio. Dick Parsley will confirm the final figures to the club when he has banked the money. Thanks and well done go out to all who helped  to achieve this result.
