After the untimely death (aged 50) of the father the 2 grandsons of founder member John Collins decided to undertake a sponsored walk from their home in Northampton to the Etihad Stadium in Manchester, the home of Manchester City the team their father supported. The boys set a gruelling target and completed the 100-mile walk (and 130,000 steps) in 4 days. Their chosen charity was Child Bereavement UK and their efforts raised £3260 to which sum the club contributed.
