Rotarian Nigel Grimmitt and his wife Carolyn have been working hard at presenting a really memorable WW1 centenary commemoration event on Saturday 10th November! 2.30 pm at St Mary’s Church Woodford .
It will be a programme of WW1 sing a long songs and poems and we will pay homage to the 40 men from Woodford who lost their lives during WW1. We hope the event will be thought provoking but also It is free with refreshments available to purchase. All monies raised through collection in the church will go to The Royal British Legion. We are ready to commemorate and entertain but we need lots of people to attend!
