On Sunday 27th April 2025, for the 2nd time members of the BPF Northamptonshire Branch, attended the Rotary Games at Ratcliffe College, Leicester. This event was under the leadership of Wellingborough Hatton Rotarian Dick Parsley, and supported by both Wellingborough Hatton Rotarians, and members of the Wellingborough Inner Wheel.
Thirteen members from the branch attended the games and eight took part in the events. In attendance were over 250 competitors taking part in 10 events of which our members took part in Boccia; Basketball Hoop Shooting; Curling; Darts; Weightlifting and Wheelchair Slalom We had a very successful games with Virginia Olds winning a gold cup in the Wheelchair Slalom, and Trevor Rennie winning a Gold Cup for Darts. Both Lynda Hubbard and Lata Allman were runners up in their competitions. Everyone agreed it was a very enjoyable day during which the competitors had a snack lunch and appreciated all the help and support from the Rotary District 1070 Rotarians.
