We raised £4,838 thanks to the efforts of the 23 people who took part made up of 16 members 4 partners and 3 friends all of whom contributed an amazing 155 hours out in the winter weather. Special thanks go to; Tony who was Santa on all 5 nights of the sleigh run. David who did 5 Santa slots at Tesco and counted and banked the vast number of coins each day. Nigel and Jim who manoeuvred the sleigh through the tight streets of Wellingborough. John who was always available to look after the sleigh and fill vacant slots to help complete the Rota. Paddy, our newest member who spent 12 hours across 3 nights collecting donations. Dave Smith for lending us the critical sound equipment. Kelly who provided the eye-catching graphics. Truck East who provided the all-important sleigh batteries and a particular special mention of Gail Hudson, Hatton Rotary Friend, who not only was out on 5 Sleigh run nights walking collecting donations but also filled 2 slots last Thursday to complete the rota.
This has been a tremendous achievement by the club with the money going to the worthy causes we support
